In this class students work with digraphs containing the letter "l" and short vowels.

US Grade 1 - 2
In this class we will work with the digraphs "bl, cl, fl, pl, gl, and sl" and short vowel sounds. Students will play a game to match and practice the digraphs. We will also review the short vowel sounds so that we can blend the digraphs and the short vowels. Students will also add a letter to the end of the blends to form and read words. We will use games, visual aids, and the whiteboard on the screen to practice the material in this class.Students will have opportunity to answer together...
Students will learn the digraphs "bl, cl, gl, pl, sl, and fl"; have opportunity to practice blending these blends with short vowel sounds, and practice forming and reading CCVC words.
It may be beneficial to have a whiteboard and marker that is easily seen or paper with a marker/crayon that can be easily seen. We will use the whiteboard on the screen, as well.
