Cartooning With Sand Art & Crafts! (Ages 5-11)
Class experience
In this class, students will be creating cartoony sand paintings (with special colored sand), as well as create cartoon-themed ornamental rock masterpieces. 1. Students will learn to design a sand painting & ornamental rocks using creativity, imagination, & critical thinking. 2. Students will discover the important elements of art such as kinesthetic motions (using their hands to create art), self expression through freedom of design to create art. 3. Students will learn to recognize the use of colors and how they interact with one another in an art piece.
