30 mins in-class hours

Class Experience

Students warm up to begin. All instruction will be demonstrated.
First, we perform Punches and Upper Body Blocks.
Next on the agenda are Kicks and Lower Body Blocks.
Slow Work and Combinations will follow. This is the time students create their own combination(s).
Cardio Blast will conclude each class!

My teaching style is encouraging and motivating. I try my best to watch each learner and correct techniques while keeping the energy high. I love to hear students express themselves as they create and lead unique student moves as they put together all-star combinations. Learners can sign up for Cardio Kickboxing Ongoing for classes that meet weekly.

Other Details

Parental Guidance
Students should have water nearby and plenty of space to perform movement. I recommend 10x10 feet. This class will increase the learner's heart rate. Please make sure your child recognizes their fitness level and does not overexert themselves.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello! I am an active, optimistic, and motivating educator! I have taught K-12 Physical Education and Health for 9 years. My favorite units include team and individual sports, team-building, dance, and group exercise. I received a Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Education from Northern Illinois University in 2006 and a Master’s in Business Administration from University of Illinois Chicago in 2014.

I believe the more engaged learners, the better the outcome! I strive to create safe learning environments where students are encouraged to try their best, get in great shape, and develop healthy, long-term habits for active lifestyles.
