Learn to create a loose and lively cardinal in this watercolor class. We will learn proper brush use and care. We will talk about how certain colors compliment each other and practice blending without over-blending. Shading and hi-lighting will be discussed. I have been painting, and teaching art for over twenty years and am continually inspired by my students individuality and creativity.
One 8 by 10 watercolor paper, regular paper can rip. One 1/2 inch flat brush, and one #12 round brush that comes to a nice point. Watercolor paints: black, white, brown, blue, purple, red, orange, yellow, green, I used the whole rainbow for mine :) Palette paper (or a foam plate works) Paper towels, and a bowl of water.
