The graphic example used in this class to teach the lesson will be a quote graphic. As a beginner's class, students will be able to learn with me as I share my computer screen and provide step-by-step guidance, ensuring every learner feels supported and successfully creates their graphic. This class will be taught slower to benefit the learners and ensure they know the tools and feel comfortable replicating a similar design on their own.

Teacher expertise and credentials
From a professional perspective, Canva is a versatile tool that I use nearly every day. It helps me create corporate presentations, visually enhance documents, and more. With a Canva Pro account, I have access to advanced features that I can apply to various aspects of my job. I also use Canva's creative potential to craft engaging Instagram posts for my brand, Ask The Mouse.
I enjoy teaching others new things and, when possible, sharing tips and best practices that I've learned over time to help alleviate challenges for others when they are learning something new. I have experience working with children from a volunteer perspective since high school in a local volunteer organization. I am also now part of a horticulture committee and volunteer at a local annual event where I help children learn how to plant and grow flowers.
