Ready to take your Canva skills to the next level? Our 6-week Canva Design Course is perfect for students aged 11-15 who want to dive deeper into the world of graphic design. Each week, we’ll tackle a new aspect of design, from social media graphics to infographics, culminating in a personalized portfolio showcasing their creative journey. Week 1Lesson 1Basics of Canva and Personal ProjectsDescription: A detailed walkthrough of Canva’s tools and features, ensuring a solid foundation for future projects. Activity: Create a personal profile card highlighting hobbies and interests, complete with a custom avatar.Week 2Lesson 2Designing Social Media GraphicsDescription: Learn the art of designing captivating social media graphics, focusing on platforms like Instagram and Facebook. Activity: Design an Instagram post about a favorite hobby or interest, incorporating elements, text, and images.Week 3Lesson 3Poster and Flyer DesignDescription: Dive into the principles of effective poster and flyer design, emphasizing layout and readability. Activity: Create a flyer for a fictional event, such as a concert or school fundraiser, using Canva’s diverse templates and tools.Week 4Lesson 4Infographics and Data VisualizationDescription: Understand the power of infographics in representing data visually, making complex information accessible and engaging. I have been using Canva for 10 years for work and personal business. I have created over 3,000 designs from social media posts, publishing books, making videos, trailers, and more!
