Description

Class Experience

In this one-time class, students will learn the basics they need to know to create almost anything on Canva! This powerful online tool can help you create worksheets, study plans, to-do lists, and YouTube thumbnails, all for FREE!

In this class we will cover the following topics and tips:
>> Finding the correct template to use for your project
>> Taking your ideas to reality via Canva 
>> Text / Fonts, Elements, Uploads, and more
>> Keyboard shortcuts that will speed up the creation process...

Students will improve their knowledge of Canva and how to use it to help them create their own projects.

I have personally been using Canva for 3+ years to create everything from YouTube thumbnails, planners, worksheets, and content for my OutSchool classes!

Students must come to class with at least a free Canva account and be logged in before class begins. We will not have time for students to create a free account, so please make sure students are ready when they arrive! 

A CanvaPro account is NOT required to participate in class, but it does unlock certain features, texts, fonts, and graphics your student can use to create. This might be a great option to consider if your student enjoys the platform.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

We will be using the online tool of Canva in class to create our projects. Students must come to class logged into Canva and ready to create!
