Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this course, students will receive an overview of early U.S. history that focuses on the country's evolution from a group of colonies to a collective body. We will begin our "choose your own adventure" in the early stages of resistance to the British and end with the adoption of the U.S. Declaration of Independence. During this course, students will view slides and listen to a lecture while being prompted to make the same decisions that the founding fathers made. Depending on the decisions made by the class, different slides and information will be revealed. No matter which path students choose, learners will understand what decisions were made and why. This will be a fun and engaging course that will allow students to think like leaders.
