Class Experience

Students will improve their knowledge about the responsibilities and safety of riding a horse, along with the reality and cost of owning a horse. Each student will get the chance to express their passion, desire, and experience in owning or riding a horse.
I have ridden horses since I was 8 years old, and have owned horses since I was 10. I have ridden both English & Western and attended many different types of shows with horses, including 4H, drill team, driving, rodeos, and I have even ridden with cattle for sporting events and driving on a ranch in Wyoming. I have also volunteered and completed an internship with a therapeutic horseback riding for children and adults with special needs / veterans. Horses are my passion, and one day I play to teach riding lessons when I get the perfect children's horse.
For this multi-day course, there is no homework expected. Students are encouraged to bring a piece of paper and writing utensil with them to class.
