In this one-week camp, learners will be taught basic verbal conversation skills and have opportunities to practice them in a gentle small-group environment. Topics to be covered include: Day 1: Greeting someone and introducing yourself Day 2: Introducing other people and putting someone at ease Day 3: Listening and expressing curiosity Day 4: Giving and receiving a compliment Day 5: Making small-talk and saying goodbye This will be a learner-centered discussion group.
