Prior to class, please have newspaper cut in a variety of sizes (3” to 7”). Ideal pieces will have words not images. After the class, please share finished project with the class.Class Experience
In this class, students will create their own mixed media canvas art using a variety techniques including layering, mixing and finishing with a transparent cover. Students will follow along step by step with the teachers as they create their own creation. Students are encouraged to engage and ask questions. Recordings of the class will be made available after each class for students to go back and practice. Day 1: Layered Background- Covering the Canvas with Newspaper Day 2: Foreground- Creating the Artwork
