Description
Class Experience
Please see the detailed outline in "class experience" that lists what will be covered each week.
I love Latin and the Greco-Roman world. I also have many years of experience teaching Latin to a range of ages and skills levels online and in a traditional classroom. I believe that learning should be a fun and engaging journey!
There will be homework assigned. This will consist of completing worksheets and memorizing a small number of Latin vocabulary words each week.
The text for this class is "Minimus: Starting Out in Latin" by Barbara Bell, published by Cambridge University Press. Each learner will need a copy of the book. The book can be purchased on Amazon for about $34. The text is sometimes referred to as the "Minimus Pupil's Book".
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
This course will require 1-2 hours of outside class time per week.
