US Grade 9 - 12
During this session we will cover calculus topics included in the AP Calculus curriculum. Example of topics are: limits, continuity, derivatives, optimization and related rates problems, integrals, etc. The content may also include a review of pre-calculus, algebra, or geometry, when needed. Students are strongly encouraged to send ahead of time any problem sets or materials they would like to go over with me. In the absence of those, I will use my own teaching resources. The format of the class will be based on the interactive discussion between the student and I as we are solving the problems together. Prerequisite: mastery of precalculus topics.

Students will get a deeper understanding of calculus concepts. Each session will focus on a few of these concepts.

Teacher expertise and credentials
ON HIATUS - I AM NOT TEACHING AT THE MOMENT ON OUTSCHOOL UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. THANK YOU!
If understood and practiced correctly, math is easy and beautiful. Every time I teach or tutor, I focus on students' understanding of the concepts and on providing them the right problems that test that understanding and stretch it to the limits.
I work with high school students that are motivated to do well in math. Over the years I taught/tutored Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus AB & BC.
I have a PhD in math and several other advanced degrees. I taught math classes at 2 high schools and 3 universities (including Calculus at University of Michigan).
I also worked in Fortune 500 companies as a data scientist manager, where I trained and developed many new employees.
At this stage in my life I value flexible and meaningful work, without the stress of large, multi million dollar projects or of classroom management, which is why I transitioned into tutoring and teaching individual/small groups.
Besides math and helping others, I have been all my life an avid reader and learner, being passionate about financial and societal issues, the environment, travel, and writing.
