How to bake cakes from around the world!
I love baking cakes! I have made several parties for my kids and families with the food from these recipes and they loved it. I would love to see all kids being able to learn the important life skills of cooking and these recipes are also delicious. I have an approach to cooking that all children can be taught to cook and make food, no matter what age. All it takes is hard work and plenty of practice.
There is no homework. All cooking is done in class unless you miss a class. Then you must send me a video or pictures of your completed cooking assignment for that week.
All recipes and ingredients lists are provided. I try to keep the cost down for you to shop for the ingredients. I also try to give you the recipes that are easy to make and ingredients are easy to have or acquire. All of the class sessions will have a master ingredient list provided in the classroom before or after you enroll, every ingredient will be listed in this file. I will send out the recipes on a weekly basis to make sure there is no confusion. After you enroll there will be a master list in the classroom for the class, so you may work on gathering all of your ingredients.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
By seeing the finished cooking projects!
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
In this class the students will need to use an oven and or stovetop. We will be moving quickly in class depending on the recipes so your student may need to have your guidance. They many need to also use knives to cut ingredients and also small appliances. ***If your student has any allergies I can suggest some substitutes for any needed ingredients. For example: Peanut Butter, Wheat Flour, etc. This is never a dealbreaker for my classes I will work with you ahead of time to get you the substitutions you need for classtime.
