Class Experience
This class is by request only. Please message me so we can work together to schedule a time that works for you! This is a personalized, one on one class for an individualized learning experience. Any and all skill levels welcome. We will work at the student's level and pace. We can start by learning the basics of using a digital camera, setting up the perfect composition of a photograph. We can challenge what the student already knows and go beyond with taking our camera out of auto mode...
- Student will strengthen their love of photography through a one on one mentoring session. They will develop skills in composition, using a digital camera, and creating quality photographs. Students will learn how to analyze a photograph to determine quality, style, and technique. The student will learn how to effectively give and receive constructive feedback.
I've been a teacher in a traditional classroom since 2002. During that time, I have experience with pre-K through 8th grade. To further my interest in photography, I completed the New York Institute of Photography courses and received my certificate of completion in 2006. I've also completed several online training to strengthen my skills. I have photographed weddings, real estate, and portraits professionally but I absolutely love photographing nature and macro shots!
A digital camera.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
