Learners can request help with each area they struggle in until they feel more confident in those skills. Learners should notice their own comfort in interacting with others.

Class Experience

Help your child find confidence and understand how to make friends. Social conversations can be difficult and embarrassing for a lot of kids, and so I created this opportunity for private, helpful communications skills learning and practice. Some learners feel awkward about friendships, know how to talk with other kids, and can sense rejection easily. NOTE: These classes are for any learner ages 10 to 18 years.

Because the class is one-on-one, I can tailor each class time for your child’s specific problem areas.
When you enroll your child, it is most productive for you to message me with some areas you think your learner needs to work on so I get to know your child better. (I will create fictitious scenarios to ensure your learner is not sharing personal stories).

In the classes I help learners to:
Gain a Sense of Confidence
Start up and Enhance Conversations
Understand Rejection
How to Handle Emotions
Learn how to Start Conversations
Improve Eye-to Eye Contact
Find greater peace during awkward moments
Gain ability to read emotions in yourself and others
Anger Awareness
Learn to Leave when others are not kind or engaging well
Learn new Phrases for Various Interactions
Learning Goals
Become more confident in building relationships with their chosen social circle, engage with others well in challenging situations, learn what to do when feeling socially overwhelmed, and find ways to build warm interactions with others at school, work and home. Learners may find they increase their comfort level socially, read social cues better, and feel less rejection from others.
