To ‘think outside the box’ we must first identify the box and even recognize that we are in one. Students will learn to begin to identify their own assumptions, biases and thought patterns which will help them be better creative thinkers and problem solvers - skills that are useful in every area and time of life!
Notebook Pen(cil) Markers Toothpicks or popsicle sticks (12) Small amount of clay or play dough Pringles (there are similarly shaped gluten-free chips for those who need it on Amazon or at Aldi) Index card (any size) Scissors Week 6's project will use a variety of materials that you likely have on hand. These materials will be unique to each student based on their design. You will also need a small box or container of some sort for mailing if you choose to do that part of the project, which is encouraged but not required.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
