Using games and problem-solving activities, students learn to challenge assumptions, identify biases and logical fallacies, deconstruct thinking patterns, and ask thoughtful questions to become better problem solvers and critical thinkers.

Class experience

Students will learn to begin to identify their own assumptions, biases and thought patterns which will help them be better creative thinkers and problem solvers - skills that are useful in every area and time of life!

Week 6's project will use a variety of materials that you likely have on hand.  These materials will be unique to each student based on their design. You will also need a small box or container of some sort for mailing if you choose to do that part of the project, which is encouraged but not required.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
