They will also be able to put multi-digit numbers in order from least to greatest and greatest to least.Week 4Lesson 5Composing and Decomposing Numbers Part 1Students will be able to compose and decompose multi-digit numbers into their component parts. Students will read and write multi-digit whole numbers using base-ten numerals, number names, and expanded form. Students will use place value understanding to round multi-digit whole numbers to any place. Students will compare two multi-digit numbers based on the meanings of the digits in each place, using >, =, and < symbols to record the results of comparisons. Students will put multi-digit numbers in order from least to greatest and greatest to least. Students will recognize that in a multi-digit whole number, a digit in one place represents ten times what it represents in the place to its right. Students will be able to compose and decompose numbers.
