Working at a job is like picking apples from a tree. You only make money while doing the work of pulling the apple off the tree. Now imagine you own the tree. The tree grows and creates value even when you aren't working. We want to teach kids how to own valuable assets. The two most common options are real estate and companies (stocks). Students will learn how to make your money work for you and actually get started investing. To complete the course: Week 1: Watch 3 videos (10 minutes total), download homework assignment, Read the homework assignment, watch the three videos again, do the homework assignment, submit the homework, read teacher comments regarding homework. Week 2: Watch 3 videos (10 minutes total), download homework assignment, Read the homework assignment, watch the three videos again, do the homework assignment, submit the homework, read teacher comments regarding homework. This is a self paced class where you watch videos and complete written assignments. Interaction with teacher is available through messages, but if you prefer live classes, check out our "Financial Literacy for Teens" Live teaching class which will cover these topics and more.
