Class Experience
US Grade 1 - 12
Intermediate - Advanced Level
In this one-time class, we'll explore interesting stories and topics in Spanish. We'll read aloud about everyday life, history, culture, technology, and the environment. The class will have cool stories to read, fun word games, and activities where you get to talk and share your thoughts—all in Spanish! I will help you learn and practice, so don't worry if you're not an expert yet. It is important that they are comfortable with reading aloud to a teacher and are able to express themselves in basic Spanish as well as ask if they do not understand the vocabulary presented. Reading aloud will enable them to not only improve in their fluency but also to start to understand what they read instead of solely focusing on translating what they have just read. We'll play games and have conversations, all in Spanish, to make it super fun and easy for you to be able to not only communicate in Spanish but read and understand what you are reading. There will be multiple challenges throughout the lesson as well as engaging moments from the very beginning. If learners come back into the classroom they move up either within the Level or up a level this will be visually represented for them to make it more fun and engaging as well as allowing them to be able to see their progressiveness in these one time classes.
