Join me to create and decorate this amazing giant January 2025 calendar inside your own Minecraft game! Along the way, learn about official and wacky holidays as you build. Plus, practice days of the week and months of the year with bonus resources! I've designed easy to follow build maps and videos to break this project down into fun and manageable steps so you can create your own! After we build, we decorate! And that's not all, when you finish the project you have an exciting way to celebrate and record memories the whole month long! You will receive creative and engaging self paced videos in this class, and I will be available to answer questions and cheer you on in your build! You will learn how to build your own calendar through step by step instructions including obtaining and using a structure block! I will also share inspiration for decoration to commemorate holidays and special days all month long! Disclaimer: This class is not an official Minecraft product and I am not affiliated or associated with Mojang. The class image is from my own Minecraft game. Learning Needs
This class supports unique learning needs as it uses a familiar and fun game - Minecraft! Students complete the projects inside their own game. As a teacher with ADHD, I make sure the class is highly engaging for neurodivergent students.
Parental Guidance
Students can use any version of the Minecraft game to participate in this class. I will demonstrate the build in Bedrock version on my iPad, but students can use other devices as well. We will NOT be playing in the same server or realm together and will not need to share gamertags. Each student will work individually on their own device. Minecraft players who know how to build and place blocks, are familiar with the settings and controls, and want to learn about the structure block will have the skills needed to complete the projects.
