A morning meeting is an engaging way to start each day and interact with other learners. In these ongoing weekly meetings, learners will meet THREE times a week. This is a bilingual class where young learners will be introduced to Spanish. No previous knowledge of Spanish is needed, just a curiosity to learn :) ¡Hola! Buenos Dias! Learners will learn the greetings and sing our welcome song (canción de Bienvenida). ¡Compartir! Sharing! Learners will participate in various sharing activities. For example, a “lightnining share” where each learner shares a word they know in Spanish. Activity! We will unveil the letter of the day along with various things that begin the letter of the day. Learners will receive a learning mat with tracing activities for Monday and Tuesdays. Learners will complete a letter craft on Fridays (included in the weekly classroom handouts). The letter craft will consist of cut and paste activities. Young learners with limited experience with scissors may need an adult assistant :). Message! We will end the meeting with a morning message. Reviewing our letter of the day, the greetings we learned and wishing everyone “un dia fantastico!” My classes are small (4 students max) in order to give all the learners ample speaking time and attention. **Each week learners will receive a package for the week. (Posted every Sunday by 6pm EST)** Vocales: Letra A Letre E Letra I Letra O Letra U 👉Las Consonantes Mas Comunes y Menos Dificles Letra m Letra p Letra l Letra s Letra d Letra n Letra f Letra t 👉Las Consonantes con Variantes Letra r-rr Letra b Letra v Letra g Letra j Letra c Letra q Letra z Letra y Letra ll Minimum of 2 students for class to run. If the class doesn't LANGUAGE USE: This class is designed to engage little learners in Spanish. It is not an immersion class. English may be used for clarification and to ease some learners. MUTING POLICY: Participation is always encouraged. My preference is to have learners unmuted, however, there may be instances where learners need to be muted due to the background noise or in order to hear other learners share. CLASS EXPECTATIONS: Learners will be asked to raise their hands to ask a question or before sharing. I may also call on each learner and may do so in order that I see them on my screen. CLASS CANCELLATIONS: If a class has not met the minimum number of enrolments, it may be canceled. A message will be sent 24 hours before the class to advise.
