This course will explore multiplication tables 1 through 10. We will make it fun by using various manipulatives to learn the fundamental concept of multiplication. We will use a combination of hands-on activities and other activities to improve their understanding and memorization of multiplication. Students will learn multiple strategies for solving the problems including the commutative property of multiplication, repeated addition strategy, groups strategy and using arrays to solve multiplication problems. Students will follow along with their own manipulatives to create multiplication problems, display repeated addition, create groups, and form arrays.
