Class Experience

You may have heard of famous inventors like Alexander Graham Bell, Thomas Edison, and the Wright Brothers, but how many women inventors do you know? Let's learn about brilliant women inventors from across history!

This is an ongoing course that learners may join at any time. Each class, I will introduce a woman inventor. Students will learn about each woman's lives, accomplishments, and inventions. Students will also learn about relevant subject areas related to each woman inventor (Social Studies, History, Science, Environmental Science, etc). Throughout class, students will have the opportunity to answer discussion and comprehension questions.

Class format: Engaging presentation with visual aids (images, videos). Students are encouraged to participate in class discussions. We may play Kahoot at the end of class. If students don't have Kahoot, they can tell me their answers in class.

Schedule:
*** I will offer this class again in the summer! ***

I believe students are always learning, and I want to make that learning process as fun and accessible for them as possible.
