NAClass Experience
We will be making our own jam and popovers in this breakfast baking course. Students may use any type of berry they desire for their jam- I will typically use strawberry, blackberry, or blueberries based on my own preferences. We will meet for 40 minutes- in this time, students will make their own homemade jam and brie-filled popovers. Students should arrive to class with the oven pre-heated to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Supplies are listed below in the required supplies section. Unfortunately, this is not a glute friendly-recipe, and I encourage your student to look at one of my other courses if there are gluten restrictions in your household.
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to make their own homemade jam and popovers for their family. This is a great breakfast with items that are typically already found in the fridge and pantry.
Other Details

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree from Grand Canyon University
Hello there! My name is Abby, and I am thrilled to be a part of this wonderful community. I have been involved in the field of education for many years, both as a teacher and in administrative roles.
As a teacher, I have primarily focused on teaching English and reading, but I also have experience teaching cooking and crafting classes. I have written curriculum for various subjects and taught in various educational settings, including public and private schools, community centers, and online platforms.
One of the values that is central to my teaching philosophy is the belief that learning should be a fun and engaging experience. I believe that students learn best when they are excited and motivated about the material they are studying. To achieve this, I try to create a positive and interactive learning environment in my classes that encourages student participation and collaboration.
While I don't teach full time at this point, I continue to be passionate about education and enjoy working behind the scenes to support students and educators alike. In my current administrative role, I am involved in developing and implementing programs that enhance the educational experience of students.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my furry companion, Magnolia. She is a loyal and loving dog who never leaves my side, and I can't imagine life without her. I am also recently engaged and excited to begin planning my future with my soon-to-be husband!
I am honored to be a part of this community and look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with students and educators alike.
