What's included
1 live meeting
2 in-class hoursClass Experience
In this class, students will learn how to make white bread from scratch. Previous baking skills are ideal, this class is a great start for kids who want to take their baking to the next level. However, any student who is wanting to try their hand at making their own bread is encouraged to join the class. This will be a hand on experience. At the beginning of the class, students will begin by making their own dough. As their dough is rising which will take approximately 2-3 hours depending on the type of yeast used, I will show them how to form the dough to do a small final rise in the pan as well as the baking process and buttered top for the finish. This final process is recorded so that students will be able to go back and to complete the bread-making process. Students will be using the oven. Adult Supervision of this portion of the bread-making is encouraged. Students will feel pride and satisfaction in a job well done when they have sliced and tasted their own bread that they made from scratch.
