This course will use powerpoint presentation and photos to teach students about boxed turtles. Students will learn about their life in the wild. They will learn where they and what they eat. They will learn about what makes them different from all other types of turtles and tortoises. Students will also learn about the care they need in captivity. They will learn about what they need to eat and their habitat requirements. Students will also learn about the types of box turtles and their life cycle. During the first portion of the class (the powerpoint presentation) students will not be able to see all of their classmates, due to my screen share. We will have open discussion during the power point presentation. After the presentation I will take off my screen share and they will be able to see the classmates easier. During that time I will also introduce some of my personal box turtles to the class.
