Book Reading Club
In this 1 week multi-day course, students will meet three times a week to discuss their reading logs, reading styles, and make book recommendations to their classmates.

Description
Class Experience
Students will improve their understanding of who they are as readers, and how their interaction with a book can help them develop a stronger connection to the books they choose to read. Students will also gain exposure to how to engage with group book club discussions, and how to offer book recommendation to their peers.
Each class students are expected to complete at least one book recommendation worksheet there they will recommend a book to the group for a total of two book recommendations. Students may make more than one recommendation, but given time restrains of the course, they may not be able to share them all during the session. Also, students will be given a reading journal worksheet to be filled out at least 2 times a week. During session 1, students will be given writing prompts/questions to ask themselves to help them complete the journal entries. Students are expected to go over the previous journal entries during session 2 & 3 of the course.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
2 hours per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
