Class Experience

US Grade 9 - 12
This will be a discussion: I will offer topics and open-ended questions for the students to talk about. I'll ask students which points they agreed and disagreed with. We can talk about both the content and the presentation of the lessons in this book since it has deep lessons presented as conversations between dogs.

I will also ask students which things they would like to try from the suggestions made in the book.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree from University of Science, Arts, and Technology
I'm passionate about teaching languages, specifically English and Spanish. Whether you're 3, 18, or somewhere in between, my classes are designed to be interactive, engaging, and fun! With over a decade of teaching experience, I've honed my skills to create a dynamic learning environment.

🎓 Professional Background:
I hold a Bachelor of Education with a major in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and a minor in Spanish. My journey in education has been rich and rewarding, and I'm committed to helping my students thrive.

🌱 Teaching Philosophy:
My teaching philosophy revolves around active participation. I firmly believe that language learning happens best when students immerse themselves in real conversations. That's why my classes prioritize speaking, using pictures, and even incorporating video clips. We'll explore language through meaningful interactions!

📖 Reading Groups and Book Clubs:
Beyond the basics, I offer reading groups and book clubs. These provide a fantastic opportunity for students to summarize what they've read, express opinions, and engage in friendly debates. Plus, it's a chance for some low-pressure public speaking—a skill that serves us well in life!

📚 Fun Fact:
As a teenager, I was a night owl because I couldn't put a good book down. While I don't recommend staying up late, I do love fostering that love of reading and learning in my students!

Join me, and let's embark on this learning adventure together!
