In this ongoing book club, students will read World-famous literatures alongside a Chinese published writer. The teacher will read the story in Mandarin Chinese, offer a thoughtful analysis, and engage the students in related activities.

In these 55-minute sessions, students will explore exciting stories with a unique twist. Our course is led by a Chinese-published writer who brings a unique perspective and deep passion for literature to each session. Through advanced Chinese immersion, students will read, dissect, and appreciate a variety of literary works, fostering a deeper understanding of culture, language, and storytelling.

Course Structure:

Icebreaker (5 Minutes): Begin each session with a fun icebreaker activity to create a warm and engaging learning environment.

Review the Previous Story/Chapter (10 Minutes): Reflect on and discuss the previous story or chapter, encouraging critical thinking and group interaction.

Read and Analyze the New Story/Chapter (30 Minutes): Dive into the heart of the literary work, reading and analyzing the new story or chapter, delving into its characters, themes, and cultural context.

Activity (10 Minutes): Engage in hands-on activities related to the story to enhance comprehension and creativity.
