Join us as we deep dive into a new and exciting book from the Who Would Win series each week! From Lions vs Tigers, to Killer Whales vs Great White Sharks, and even the Tyrannosaurus Rex vs Velociraptor, we’ll enjoy them all! The Who Would Win series, by Jerry Pallotta, is aimed at newly independent readers. With easy-to-read text, high-interest content, photos, charts, illustrations, and amazing facts on every page, these books will boost reading confidence and stamina. And this book club is a perfect introductory experience! Books will be read ahead of time, before class. All of class time will be dedicated to choosing at the beginning of class which animal each student thinks will win, discussing the books, learning facts about the animals, playing fun games, and ending the class discovering which animal won! This class is designed to be fully interactive and students are expected to be fully engaged. While there is grace for nervous and shy students, of course, if interacting with teacher and peers is painfully uncomfortable for your student, this class may not be a good fit for them. Students will need a copy of the Who Would Win series, by Jerry Pallotta, can be purchased or borrowed from your local library. They are fairly inexpensive, but not yet available as an ebook.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
