The Who/What/Where Is/Was…? series books make history come to life. They provide age-appropriate facts in a fun and exciting way for learners to remember important historical events, dates, people, and locations. They are a fun and easy read, not dry and boring like some history books. Reluctant readers are drawn in, captivated, and cannot put the book down. Even they tend to enjoy them! Learners get so excited and want to keep reading to find out what happens next. They may even want to do some extra research and keep learning. I love these books! In this class, we will focus on historical events by reading one of the What Is/Was…? series books. The best part…learners get to choose which book they’ll read! Only one historical event will be read about in each class. If your learner would like to read about more than one, they are welcome to register for the class again. I encourage them to read them all! *Note: This is a learner-directed, asynchronous class. This means learners choose the historical event they’re going to study and work at they’re own pace to complete the coursework. There are NO live meetings. *REFUND POLICY: Once the material has been sent to the learner, there will be NO refunds issued. If your learner changes their mind and wants to choose a different historical event, or if they want to read about more than one, they are welcome to register for the class again. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
