In this ongoing book club, learners will read and discuss a Questioneers book each week developing their English, and also Science, STEM, Engineering and more! Discover the adventures of the Questioneers! ESL friendly. Week of 21/10/24 - Rosie Revere: Engineer Week of 28/10/24 - Ada Twist: Scientist Week of 4/11/24 - Iggy Peck and the Mysterious Mansion Week of 11/11/24 - Sofia Valdez and the Vanishing Vote Week of 18/11/24 - Ada Twist and the Disappearing Dogs Week of 25/11/24 - Rosie Revere and the Raucous Riveters Week of 2/12/24 - Ada Twist and the Perilous Pantaloons Week of 9/12/24 - Iggy Peck and the Mysterious Mansion Week of 16/12/24 - Iggy Peck: Architect Further classes will be added. Books from the Chapter Book Series by Andrea Beaty. Learners can join the class at any point. This is an ongoing course so each class stands alone. We focus on a different theme from the books each week whilst developing comprehension skills, grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing. Learners can join the class no matter how much of the series they have read. Each week will include a range of teaching activities including reading out loud, videos, discussions, activity sheets, Q+A, slides and more. Parental Guidance
Please note, this is an English language class to develop comprehension and vocabulary. This is not a 'read along' class. Our own materials are used to teach learners during this course. The focus of the classes is to develop language including, phonics, vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, fluency and writing skills.
Supply List
Learners will need a notebook, pencil and crayons for each class. The books are required for this class. Students may use e-books, hardcopy and paperbacks, or audiobooks to read and comprehend the text.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
