Let's board the Orient Express in Istanbul, Turkey and solve a murder with the legendary Hercule Poirot. If your student loves beautifully crafted mysteries, you are in the right place. Murder on the Orient Express - Agatha Christie We will be reading Agatha Christie's "Murder on the Orient Express" during the 9-week, 45 minute/session class. As we read, students will also be learning effective questioning and discussion skills. Using a Reading Response Journal, students will learn and perfect strong reading and discussion skills that they will use again and again throughout their lives. As we read, we will be looking at the differing points of view as we engage with Agatha Christie's classic murder mystery. The beauty of this is that students will be immersed in a fantastic, engaging story while they do it! We will also look at the art created for the text and discuss how it affects our reading and understanding of the novel.
