In this English Reading course, learners will focus on a different character from Charlotte's Web each week developing their comprehension, vocabulary, spelling and writing! Come on adventures with Wilbur, Charlotte, and Fern together. Week of 9/12/2024 - Mr. Zuckerman/Uncle Homer Week of 16/12/2024 - Templeton Week of 23/12/2024 - John Arable Week of 30/12/2024 - Mrs. Arable Week of 6/1/2025 - Mrs. Zuckerman Week of 13/1/2025 - Avery Week of 20/1/2025 - Lurvy Week of 27/1/2025 - Goose Week of 3/2/2025 - Oldest Sheep Week of 10/2/2025 - Uncle Week of 17/2/2025 - Henry Fussie Week of 24/2/2025 - Wilbur Week of 3/2/2025 - Charlotte Week of 10/2/2025 - Fern Learners can join the class at any point. This is an ongoing course so each class stands alone. Learners are encouraged to have some knowledge of the book 'Charlotte's Web' but can also be reading it throughout the journey of this course. Each week will include vocabulary, comprehension and input. Learners will be encouraged to share their ideas in a variety of ways in class. Please do contact us with any questions. Parental Guidance
Please note, this is an English language class. This is not a 'read along' class. Our own teaching materials are used to teach learners during this course. The focus of the classes is to develop language including, phonics, vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, fluency and writing skills.
Supply List
Learners will need a notebook, pencil and crayons for each class. The books are required for this class. Students may use e-books, hardcopy and paperbacks, or audiobooks to read and comprehend the text.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
