Book Club: "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"
Class experience
US Grade 2 - 5
This classic book by Roald Dahl, is a wonderful story for kids of all ages. We will do reading on our own before each class and practice our oral reading skills in class. During class we will discuss key plot points, our favorite parts, and other memorable moments. In addition, we will discuss adaptations, creative licensee and liberties, and work on our critical thinking and analysis when discussing characters, plot, motivation, and what might happen next. **You do not need to read before...
Students will strengthen their reading, critical reading, oral reading, development of thoughts, and discussion skills.
