Teacher expertise and credentials
Hey learning leaders!
My name is Jayme, and I am so excited to be a part of your learning adventure!
As an elementary school teacher I have loved helping children find their voice in education and watching them grow into amazing leaders and students.
I began teaching dance when I was 18 and then pursued a career dancing and performing for The Walt Disney Company shortly after. I have always loved working with kids so becoming a teacher just seemed to fit perfectly into my life path. Before finishing my degree I became a substitute and quickly realized my love of teaching and specifically for elementary school. After graduating I became a 2nd grade teacher and have been teaching elementary school and dance ever since.
I believe every student is a leader! I teach habits in order to help learners be the best they can be. I will guide them in what they need to be successful, for not only this year, but for years to come. I love working however your student works best, whether that be in small groups or one-to-one. Learners who are engaged in what they are learning will continue to grow and I am happy to guide them along the way! They will feel welcome and respected in my class so let's get learning!
