Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 4
“It was a dark and stormy night. Elias and Annie were home alone. Their parents had an important dinner they had to attend. Both sat in the living room doing their homework. When Annie heard a strange sound from the attic, it sounded like someone was bouncing a ball.”

Ghost stories are one of the oldest kinds of stories. People have been telling these kinds of stories for thousands of years. Sometimes in front of a campfire or at night to scare and thrill each other. Many ghost stories are a bit frightening, but many also have a good ending where things are set right, and the ghost no longer feels the need to haunt people. Ghost stories can be a wonderful mix of funny, sad, scary, and mysterious.

As a teacher, I foster critical thinking through various activities such as research and discussions. The most rewarding part of my job is igniting my students' joy of learning and nurturing their curiosity about the world.

I believe in incorporating play into my teaching whenever possible, as I believe that everyone, regardless of age, has a playful side.
