We will explore the blues scales and forms focusing on improvisation in this session. Through playing together, we will understand what notes to play when soloing over the blues. This style is the one true American art form. Once students learn the blues, they will own it forever.

Teaching all styles to all ages, in group settings as well as individualized lessons. As a music educator I make it easy to understand and learn. As for the guitar, techniques in simple guitar playing to advanced improvisation in jazz are all topics I will cover. In addition chords, reading music, playing in styles like blues, jazz, funk, rock, reggae, folk, country and many more.
