Class Experience

In this One-Time Class, we will learn all about some fascinating, amazing creatures...GIRAFFES! We will learn through interactive reading, active listening, fun discussion, and movement. In this class, we will observe real pictures and short clips of giraffes. Towards the end of class we will draw a giraffe together and share it with our classmates. This is an interactive class that is perfect for children who are interested in science, nature, and animals.

Teacher and students will learn facts about GIRAFFES using interactive slides. Teacher will check for comprehension during class discussion.
Learners will answer comprehension questions about topics discussed.
Learners will complete a directed drawing of a giraffe.
Lesson Closure

Prior to each class, I will send resources and directions specific to the lesson. (NOTE: These resources will be used as an enrichment and/or extension activity. They are not needed to be able to participate in this class.). The materials required to use these printables will consist of basic supplies such as pencil, crayons, or markers...etc.

I am a 4th grade teacher who is passionate about teaching all things Reading & Language Arts. I am especially passionate about integrating other subjects such as, social studies and science, into my reading lessons. I have a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialty in literacy and bilingual education. Teaching little learners about the wonderful world of life science is something I am very passionate about. I have taught in the public school, private school, and online settings. I love teaching!
