Class Experience

This 16 - week course is a great college preparation! It will cover most grade 11 Biology curriculum. After completing the course and practicing unit related questions students should be prepared for Bio 11 credit exam. 
The class is designed in the interactive way, students will have an opportunity to participate, to be assessed for their knowledge. Student's progress and recommendations will be communicated to parents. 
Week 1-2 -  cells (eukaryotes, prokaryotes) cell structure
Week 2- 3...

Students will learn and practice all units required for grade 11 high school credit tests 
I am always available after class (or over email) to address more questions

I have over 10 years experience preparing students for high-school credit exams. I hold PhD in cell biology and over 10 years experience in teaching science in one-on-one or class settings.

We will have a practice worksheet for each topic
students are encouraged to upload their homework to get personal feedback

Report based on student's participation and quiz based assessment would be available for parents
Students participating in all classes and submitting homework and presenting projects will get a mark and can take high-school credit exam

50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.

Grade Bio 11 textbook is optional
