I have been a certified veterinary technician for more than 30 years, have a MEd from Colorado State University and I am now finishing up my second master’s program and will have a Master of Veterinary Education (MVEd) from Lincoln Memorial University’s School of Veterinary Medicine in May, 2024. I have been teaching at multiple local community colleges in veterinary Assistant Programs, and in an equine studies program, as well as a variety of Veterinary Science programs for grades 3-5, 6-8, and high school. I am also a homeschool mom! At home, my family has 3 mini horses, a Paint horse, 4 Nigerian dwarf goats, 9 chickens and 2 cats! I am passionate about sharing my experience and love for animals and veterinary medicine with all learners from diverse backgrounds from all around the world! If your learner has a dream to be a veterinary professional, then I am excited to help them on this first step!
