Description
Class Experience
Sight words are so important for a reader and they can be tricky to learn to read and spell. During our game of Bingo we will learn how to recognize 1st grade sight words. We also will learn how to read them and use them correctly in sentences. Each child will be sent 1 unique bingo cards prior to the class. Make sure your child either prints (or recreates) this card so they can participate in class. Here is how our class will be structured: 1. Introduction and a quick get to know you 2....
Students will learn the first grade sight (dolch) words in order to help them be more successful readers and writers!
Bingo card (I will send and please print prior to class) Pennies, cereal or small items to mark their card Something to write with (notebook and pencil, or dry erase board and marker)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
