In this ongoing class, I will read bilingual children's stories and teach basic Spanish vocabulary. I will begin each class by reading a bilingual (English/Spanish) book, stopping throughout the book for students to repeat vocabulary words in the story. Following the reading of the book we will work on a small drawing based on the story theme. Any students who would like to share their artwork will be given an opportunity at the end of the class. This class will be a good fit for shy students as well, as they will be encouraged but not forced to share.
