Learn Greek through the classic fairy tales! During this class, students will meet twice a week for 4 weeks and learn Greek through the study of classic fairy tales. Each week we will focus on a different story and look at learning specific Greek vocabulary that will be highlighted. There will be an activity relating to the story to be completed before the next class. During the next class students will take turns sharing their responses. I will model and then students will be given the opportunity to practice and share. If a student is unable to complete the whole activity in Greek, students are encouraged to try and write some of the vocabulary from the stories in Greek onto their assignments. Week 1 - Class 1 - Introduction to the classic Goldilocks and the Three Bears story written by Robert Southey and translated by me onto slides.
