Bienvenidos parents and learners! If your kids are about to start kindergarten or if your kids love Clifford stories this is the perfect class for you! In this amazing class, we will learn Spanish with Clifford the big red dog! We will read a story called Clifford Goes to Kindergarten by Norman Bridwell. This is a story about a big dog named Clifford and his best friend Emily Elizabeth, Clifford joins Emily for her first day of kindergarten! Emily Elizabeth is nervous about making new friends and missing home. But with Clifford by her side in class to sing songs and play games, Emily Elizabeth learns how much fun kindergarten can be! Children have an innate ability to acquire and develop language at an early age, so exposure to a second language will result naturally if they have the right stimulus like games, books, art, music, and others. The story will be read in English and Spanish and the kids will be able to see the book illustrations while we read the story together Also they will be able to identify some fun sounds. After we read, we will practice the vocabulary related to the story in Spanish and English. Slides with drawings will be used for this activity and I will share a printable activity that you and your kids can do after the class together. Before we finish the class, We will play an interactive game where the students will be able to review the vocabulary that we found in the story. **Please note that there is no need to have any prior knowledge of Spanish to take this class*** -Everybody is welcome to join! - If you don’t see a displayed time that works for you or see any upcoming date, please feel free to request one, and I will create one section that works for you!
