Students will be exposed to the basics of CrossFit, while working out using mostly body weight movements to improving their fitness level, strength, conditioning and flexibility. Students will be guided through various CrossFit movements by the instructor in order to show and explain the essential concepts of these movements. Class will be divided into the following structure: 2-5 mins - Welcome and goals for the day 10 - 12 mins - Dynamic warm up and work mobility/ flexibility 5 - 10 mins - Explanation of Workout of the Day & /or Learning of New Skill(s) 15 - 20 mins - Workout of the Day 5 min - Cool Down Students and Parents should understand that this class could result in raised heart rate, rapid breathing, muscle soreness, and in some cases muscular cramps. In the event that the student has had previous medical diagnosis, they should seek the clearance of a doctor prior to beginning any exercise program.
Learning Goals
Students will learn the basic exercise movements, the structure of CrossFit workout, all while continuing to get stronger, more flexible, and in all around better physical shape.

Supply List
Required -Students will need athletic clothes and shoes, a towel, and water bottle. Recommended, but not required - Exercise mat, small set of dumbbells, broomstick (without the broom head) or 5 ft long piece of 1/2" PVC pipe, gallon jug filled with water (or gravel for heavier weight - stronger/older students).

I have been a certified personal trainer for 8 years. I have 4 years of experience as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Additionally, I have 6 years of experience as a Certified Fitness Nutritional Specialist. I have been an avid Crossfitter for the past 3 years, including leading kids classes and sports performance classes .at my local Crossfit Affiliate Gym.
