Beginning Reading Skills: Reading and Writing CVC and Bossy E Words

In this ongoing beginning reading class, we will see and hear a short story from which students will identify words that look similar but sound different, i.e. hat/hate, hug/huge, hop/hope, etc. Through Google Slide games and activities, we will review CVC words, learn about the bossy e, differentiate between CVC and CVCe words, and identify the correct spelling for these words. Worksheets will be given upon enrollment. You may choose to print this worksheet or your learner can use any sheet of paper to write with us.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
