We will practice reading using beginner reader books while focusing on vocabulary, sight words and high-frequency words, making connections with the text, comprehension, and more!

Description
Class Experience
Students will widen their vocabulary, learn sight words, learn to make text to self connections, and work on reading comprehension skills. The students will also learn to read left to right and that a sentence is made up of words that are separated by spaces. Overall, students will learn to read beginner level books on their own.
No homework.
No supplies needed!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
