US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 1
Beginner Level
This unit covers the recognition, writing, and sounds of all letters. I will start each class with a warm up of letters and sounds we have learned so far. I will say the letter, a picture key word that starts with that letter sound, and then say the sound of the letter. Then, I will review how to write each letter with proper letter formation. I will give examples of what type of words can start with that letter sound and show how to write those simple words. Each class I will assign an assignment through Easel on Teachers Pay Teachers for your student to complete. I will also provide each student with a downloadable worksheet that can be printed to help practice writing letters for each week. Lastly, I will assign a Blooket game for your student to practice and review the letters and sounds they learned that week. Blooket is a fun and educational website that allows students to practice any skill in an exciting, game based way.

* Objective: Identify and write the vowels 'i' and 'u'.

* Objective: Recognize and practice writing letters 'c' and 'o'.

Pre-Requisites
Students should have some experience working with a computer including mouse movement, and finding keys on a keyboard.
Supply List
All students will need access to a printer to print the recommended letter writing sheet, a pencil and eraser.
